It was heartbreak without Henry in the tent this week, but as the team donned colourful ties in his honour, we kick started the final GBBO countdown and Patisserie Week.
The technical round saw Rosie rise up from the choux graveyard. In one of the hardest tasks we’ve seen all series, the tent was put to the test with a Gâteau St-Honoré. Having had everyone on the edge of their seats as attempts one, two AND three all ended up in the bin, Rosie defied the odds and put together a fantastic bake to win the challenge. Alice bit off more than she could choux, coming fourth place, Steph was third and David (having decided he’s more of a rough puff kind of guy) managed to secure second place AGAIN.
